Leica SP5 Resonant Confocal Microscope

The resonant scanning system on the Leica TCS SP5 works at 8000 Hz
frequency and enables the user to acquire images at about 25 images per second at a frame resolution rate of 512 x 512 pixels. This is faster compared to the recording speed of conventional scanners and is used for live cell imaging.
