The purpose of this collaboration is to develop novel
techniques for using microarray technology to identify
the neural cell types, circuits and plasticity mechanisms
that underlie complex behvaior. Microarrays have so far
had rather limited impact on solving problems in neuroscience,
in large part because of the tremendous heterogeneity
of neural tissues.
