2 Priority for scheduling time on FEG scopes

Cryo data collection takes priority on Tecnai F20/Tecnai F30 scopes followed by negative stain data collection and grids screening.


3 Cancelation and Time Grabbing


4 Tardy

If a user does not show up after ONE hour from the entered starting time, his/her sreservation will be lost. Any qualified user can sign-up or grab this session. Tardy users can also grab their own session, but with the least priority. Tardiness without a notice in advance and proper reason will be marked as a violation.


5 Logging

All the EM sessions, usages for glow-discharge units, dry pumping stations and the Edwards Carbon Coater must be properly logged using the online E-log book or the paper log book on near the instrument.


6 General Polices


7 Violation

Users violating to EM Lab policies will be warned once. Repeated violations will result in users being barred from any EM facility use for two weeks.
