Either a hard copy or electronic version of all
grant proposals need to be given to Ann Cusano, Carolyn Signore or Carla Morrison.
Once a grant is approved, they will keep track of expenditures,
including reconciling the University's central accounting data
to a separate "shadow" database. A summary of the account will
be given to the PI once a month, after reconciliation. Unfunded
applications will be kept for two years and then disposed of.
A Project Approval Form needs to accompany all grant applications
when they are sent to Brandeis' Office of Research Administration for
approval. These forms require the signature of the Department
Chair and Administrator before submission.
