The following is a brief description of the duties of the Biology office staff. You may find this useful in deciding who to ask for help!

Marcia Cabral is responsible for:

  • oversight of the Life Sciences graduate students, including their recruitment, payroll, health insurance and academic progress

Pat Keill is responsible for:

  • non-exempt staff and student payrolls
  • the weekly Biology Bulletin
  • postdoctoral appointments

Jean Wong is responsible for:

  • reimbursements
  • Wednesday seminars

Marcia, Pat and Jean can also provide other administrative support such as assistance with copy and print jobs, issuance of keys, room reservations, data projectors, etc.

Ann Cusano, Carolyn Signore and Carla Morrison are responsible for:

  • monitoring all grant accounts;
  • tracking all encumbrances and expenditures on a daily basis for all grants of the Kalman, Bassine, Rosenstiel and Volen Biology faculty

Please remember that Ann or Carolyn need to sign the following forms before submission for processing:

  • Requistion for Supplies and Services
  • Payment requests
  • Business expense

General Email Address for the front office staff

The Biology Office maintains a general email account at this address that may be used for submission of weekly seminar information, room requests, etc.
