  • Floating at surface in whorls of 4-7
  • Inflated petioles 1.0-4.0 cm long (0.4-1.6 inches)

Flowers:

  • Small
  • Yellow
  • 3-5 per stem
  • 3-5 cm long (1-2 inches)

Fruit:

  • Appears as small round capsule during summer months
