Flowers:

  • Pink to purple
  • Grow in disk-shaped inflorescences
  • Sometimes flat-topped

  • 50-200 cm long (20-79 inches)
  • Spots and short hairs towards top

Leaves:

  • Grow in whorls of usually 4-5, lance-shaped to oval
  • Sparsely hairy above, densely hairy beneath, sharp teeth
