*Note -

This plant is carniverous! Insects become stuck to spoon-shaped leaves and are digested by fluids secreted by the sundew.

Leaves:

  • 2-5 cm long (1-2 inches), 0.20-0.40 cm wide (0.08-0.16 inches)
  • Arranged in basal rosette, usually along bottom of stem
  • Spatula-shaped
  • Tops covered in long, gland-tipped hairs
  • Petioles smooth

Flowers:

  • Purplish to pink
