  • Dark green, yellow in autumn
  • 3.5-7 cm long (1.4-2.8 inches)

Flowers:

  • Small
  • White, occasionally pink
  • Grow in slender clusters
  • Sweetly scented

Fruit:

  • Spherical seed clusters that look like peppercorns
