Many of the exotic plants included in this website are invasive and pose a high risk to native biomes. One of our goals is to help you recognize them, so that you can protect the native species by uprooting aggressive invaders. Although invasive species are widely available for purchase, we would like to encourage you to plant only native species.

If you want to look at some invasive species, click the invasive species link. If you want to see other introduced species that now grow in the wild, click on the Non-invasive link.
