Description
Mushroom: >1cm (3/8") wide, 5-15cm (2-6") high. Spindle-shaped, round or flat. Fused and branched at base, can be branched once or twice on op. smooth to longitudinally wrinkled or grooved.
Flesh: Yellow, firm to brittle.
Stalk: Indistinct, white and hairy at base.
Spore print: White to yellow.

On ground in woods or field. Densely clustered. Eastern North America.
