Gall maker: Acraspis nubila, a gall wasp (Order Hymenoptera, Family Cynipidae)

Shape and Size: globular and densely haired; each gall contains one to five larval cells. Diameter: approx. 0.6 to 1.2cm per gall.

Location: Usually clustered on the top-side of Quercus leafs.

Color: Pinkish-red.
