  Cephalothorax:      
More long than it is wide. Chelicerae are usually enlarged.    
Abdomen:    
Elongated and ovular with one or two humps on the back. Yellow to white in color.    
Legs:    
First legs are the longest, subsequent legs going down in length, with the third leg being the shortest.    
Size:    
12.0 mm

  Habitat:    
  Along water bodies, or in the vegetation around them.
  Range:
    Widespread throughout North America  
         
 
         
  Web Type:    
  Orb web with 20 cm diameters. Unlike the ones Araneidae make they are open in the center and are usually horizontal or at a slight angle.

  These spiders are also known as Four Jawed Spiders due to their enlarged chelicerae and fangs.
