Location: Found in the wettest parts of bogs or lakes, and sometimes savannas and flat woods.

Characteristics:

  • Carnivorous herb
  • Perennial

Uses:

  • Tubular leaves collect and hold rain water

 

 

 

Leaves:

  • Up to 40 cm (17 in) long
  • Modified into pitcher-like structures
  • Rosette arrangement
  • Evergreen
  • Yellow-green or purple in color
