The head and body segments are connected and appear to be a single segment. The legs area long, with the last segment being very flexible. Our example is 4 mm long. It is light brown with a wavy black band running down the abdomen. In the black band are several white spots.

Unlike spiders, Harvestmen are omnivorous. Instead of poison glands, the have stink glands for predator avoidance. Most are diurnal.
