"Fishing Spiders" species: Triton

Fishing spiders live near water and skate along the surface. Doing this they catch their prey, aquatic insects and small fish.
You can see that the spider has distinct markings on its dorsal region and abdomen.

LOCATION: This species is found in the United States and southern Canada and very seldom in the Rockies and Great Plains.
