Habitat: Under conifers

Color:Cap darkish green, often paler in margin, occasionally all white, gills white, stalk white

Size: Cap is 6.5-15 cm in diameter, stalk is 7.5-12.5 cm long,

1.5-2 cm thick

Gills: Free , broad, close.

Spore Print: white

Edibility: Deadly Poisonous

Characteristics: The cap is convex and fairly round. There is a large basal bulb. It lives from late September to November, throughough the Northeast. They have a strong odor which is nauseating. It kills between 5-10 days after ingestion if not treated.
