The flowers of the Lily family are a variety of colors ranging from white, to orange, to pink, to violet. Most lily flowers have a long tubular corolla that splits into 6 or 3 different lobes making a bell or triangular shape. They have 6 stamens and a long pistil that often splits into 3 stimga. The leaves are generally basal and very large. The leaves are parellel-veined. We unfortunately found only one flower that belongs to the lily family out of the 105 that grow in our area.
