Petal arrangement: The Purple-top Verbena has clusters of small purple, pinkish colored flowers that look like they form little rosettes that grow on thin stems.The clusters of flowers are about 2 to 3 inches or 5 to 8 cm across. |

| Color: Violet-Pink Leaf arrangement: The leaves grow oppositely and are toothed. They can grow to be 1 to 3 inches or 5 to 12 cm. They also grow up the stem. Size, Location, Season: The Purple-top Verbena can grow to be as tall as 5 feet or 1 ½ meters. They are native to South America, and have newly been introduced to North America. They grow in May to October, although rarely in our area. |
