Description
10.2-25.4cm (4-10in) perennial. Leaves are tri-lobed with "V" shaped markings. White, pink-tinged flowers appear in round heads on stalks.
Location
Found in open fields and on lawns. Ranges throughout North America. White clover is alien and native to Europe.

Leaves
Leaf tea used for colds, coughs, and fevers.
Flowers
Flower tea used for rheumatism and gout.
Notes
Like many clovers, white clover contains the estrogenic isoflavone genistein which has cancer-preventative and antioxidant activity.
