8-15 cm across, can grow to be 50 cm long
Semicircular, occassionally grows up and out (may have a short and stubby stalk)
Dark brown/black in center, edges white
Develops a musty odor
Spreads over almost entire surface, curved flaps
Pores Brown, not uniform
Corn shaped
Yellow

Dry or wet coniferous wood (inside and outside)
June-January outdoors (all year indoors)
