Amy Grace graduated with a B.S. in biology from UC Berkeley in 2000. She spent three years working in the biotech industry of the San Francisco bay area before entering the Molecular and Cell Biology Ph.D. program in 2003. Her research focuses on the interactions of formins with their associated proteins and how these interactions affect formin activities in vitro and in vivo. Besides actin, she loves cooking, watching movies, and marrying hunks from Berkeley.
