Biochemical and cellular functions of coronin
e-mail: meghal@brandeis.edu
Meghal received her Ph.D. in 2004 from the University of Texas at Austin. Her doctoral work in the laboratory of Dr. Clarence Chan involved characterization of the genetic interactors of Cdc42 GTPase effectors Gic1 and Gic2 in S. cerevisiae. Her project in the Goode lab involves further understanding the mechanistic aspect of the Arp2/3 complex regulation by evolutionarily conserved actin binding protein coronin.
Meghal prefers to unwind by spending time with nature, practicing yoga and hanging out with friends.
