Applying to the MS Program in Neuroscience

Prospective students can apply online at the Brandeis University GSAS website.

Requirements

Students are considered for admission based on the strength of their application as a whole. Admissions committees take into account the student's academic record (grades and related coursework), letters of recommendation, work and/or research experience, and the individual’s motivation for applying to attend a Master’s program. GREs are not required.

International applicants: there are additional requirements for international applicants (non-U.S. citizens or non-permanent residents), minimum TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE scores, and important information regarding visas. If the student is submitting TOEFL scores, please note that the Brandeis TOEFL institution code is 3261.

Application Deadlines

The admission deadline is rolling through May 1; application review begins in January. Rolling admissions means that the application may be closed prior to May 1st if the desired cohort size is reached.

Notifications of acceptance or rejection are sent out as decisions are reached (between January and May-June).
