We are also interested in generally understanding how transcriptional and postranscirptional processes regulate different molecular and behavioral processes in health and disease. For doing so we utilize a wide array of molecular techniques and systems in order to understand general questions including:
- What are the molecular events underlying adaptation to extreme environments?
- How those mechanisms evolve at the molecular and physiological levels?
- What is the relationship between transcriptional and post-transcriptional events in the fly brain?
