Students are asked to form into groups of 2-4. By January 22nd,
please send a single email either stating that you would like
me to place you in a group, or send one email from the group
you have formed listing the members and their email addresses.
The final projects will focus on a particular disease or set
of related diseases of your choosing. The project will consist
of a paper and a poster summarizing the paper.
You may select one of two formats for the paper:
- A critical review: A review of what is known about the neurobiological
basis of a particular disease or treatment modality highlighting
and critically evaluating a particular theory or point of
view.
- A research proposal: a paper outlining a hypothesis about
the neurobiological basis of a particular disease or treatment
modality and a set of experiments to test that hypothesis.
Further details about the two formats will be provided later.
The projects will be completed in stages.
