Logs

Students are required to keep a log of course related learning experiences. This should include a brief summary of each lecture and the associated readings with questions or points requiring further clarification. Logs must be in legible handwriting or typed. These do not need to be polished summaries, but are meant to insure that you are actively engaging the material presented in class and in the readings. These entries must be your own work and where you ideas are influenced by your colleagues you should note this. If you are absent you should do a log entry on the readings, but not on the lecture. The logs will be collected one or more times during the course of the semester and at the end of the course.
