All NIH funded biomedical researchers in New England are eligible to become users on the Avance 800. Before requesting time on the 800, we ask that you register with our facility by providing contact, project, and funding information . In addition, we ask that each user view our "Magnet Safety Video" and sign an agreement that states that you have been informed of all of the safety issues and that you agree to the rules of the facility. Become a user now:

1. Watch the safety video and download the safety form.

Currently, the safety video is available at the SCMF for viewing. The safety form can be downloaded here (view safety form).

2. Register for an account through "myBrandeis" to allow access to the online 800 schedule.

To register, please go to http://my.brandeis.edu. Select "Login" which is located in the upper right corner of the window. In the new window, provide your full e-mail address and select a password. Clicking on the Submit button will take you to a new page where you must confirm your password and provide your name. When you click on Register you will get a message telling you to check your e-mail and follow the instructions. When you recieve the e-mail, follow the directions to confirm your registration.

3. Fill out a time request form.

If you are a researcher from Brandeis, please have your charge line and grant info (funding agency, grant number, etc) ready when you fill out the time request form. If charges should be split between multiple grants, please indicate percentages on the form.

If you are a researcher from outside Brandeis University, please make sure to submit a Purchase Order to:
