Life
Sciences research and education at Brandeis University is
well funded. University funds, together with grants from
the NSF
Integrative Graduate Education and Research Training
(IGERT) Program, the HHMI-NIBIB
Interfaces Program, and three NIH training grants (Genetics
and Biochemical Mechanisms of Regulation; Neurobiology:
Genes, Channels and Behavior; and Macromolecular Structure
and Mechanisms) support curriculum development and/or help
provide full tuition, a stipend and health benefits for
graduate students during their entire stay. The stipend
for 2006-2007 is $27,000 (for a 12-month period).
