Request for Research Materials

Our policy is to send out everything on which we have published. The only exception would be antibodies that are in very limited supply.

NOTE: We are no longer sending out these materials.

  1. Tim antibody. It is a very old antibody and our supply is almost exhausted.
We get a large number of requests, which places a high demand on the lab members sending the reagents so as a courtesy to them it is imperative that you completely fill out the online form below.

* Make sure you supply sufficient information for filling your request.
We need to know the organism you are working with, the specific name for the material you want, and the reference to the paper in which the material was published. We have many thousands of strains, plasmids, and antibodies. Most of these were made by people who have left the lab. You can enter more than one request below by separating the items with a comma.

We will try to fulfill your request within two weeks. If you don't receive anything, you can ask for confirmation that the request has been received. Or contact Michael's Administrative Coordinator Marlene Bender , Phone: 781-736-3163, Fax: 781-736-3164. She will track it down.

Finally, if you need specific information or advice, Kate Abruzzi (plasmids and yeast strains) or Krissy Palm (fly strains and antibodies) might be able to help you. If they can't, they likely can supply the email or phone number of someone who is now — or used to be — in the lab, who can help.
